In combination with the SL 1200 or SL 1210 a common sight at parties. It's the no. 1 used dj headphone, and with a reason. It not only delivers superb quality music to your ears (especially the bass that's very important cos that's the thing your mixing!), it also is near indestructible. You can rotate and fold the thing almost any direction you want.

My Behringer 1602 A, a cheap buy at the time, but a good one. 4 Stereo and 4 mono channels give me the possibility to mix and record everything I want. I can hook up my minidisk laptop etc, pre amplify it and send it to my NAD stereo. Not in production anymore, but he has a 'younger brother' with almost the same specs! Go and have a look!

Well famous and unchanged since the late '70, the standard in the dj scene. The black variant of the SL 1200, the SL 1210 MK2. Equipped with the concorde (from their silverline) it's a pleasure to listen to. I mainly use it nowadays to play and record my vinyl's, just haven't got enough time to try dj-ing or mixing.

My treasure, sigh.... It's an amp alright, split in 2 for optimum performance. A NAD 116 pre-amp with 4 separate input channels 2 tape in- and output channels for copying and XLR output. When the signal is pre amplified it goes to the 'big guy', the NAD 216 THX. It's not only big in weight (14,2 kg) but also in performance. It delivers continuous output power of 125 watt, and in bridge mode (e.g. mono, for a sub woofer) it can deliver 400 watt CONTINOUS output power. So this baby delivers a lot of quality noise! The one in the middle is the NAD C660, my latest addition to the audio set. It's a multipurpose tool actually, it is a double cd deck that plays every cd imaginable, also mp3 cds :) and it's a cd recorder that can record audio cds at 4x. Furthermore it has an optical in- and output (ain 't that handy with the minidisk) digital in- and output and your basic in and out. So here it is my audio set, very beautiful, very complete, and above all, very expensive;)

For optimum performance I needed a superb cable to link my NAD 116 to my NAD 216THX. MIT makes one of the worlds best cables for exactly that job, so I bought me a pair of Terminators nr.4. They are not mere strands of copper that guide the signal from the pre to the power amp, but they also filter that signal to exclude as much static as possible, not a cheap buy, but a good one nonetheless!
